I got up early {pre 6 am, that's early for me even on a teaching day, as it is today. fyi., the birds started singing today at 6:06 am} and went up to the studio to pack up a few orders {thank you!}. I was admiring the morning light coming across the wall and the new photos I got from Hannah yesterday. There's some wonderful people who inspire me and whose work I happily have on my wall. I will share them tomorrow.

As I slowly share work with you for the upcoming show at Artstream, this one seemed so appropriate for today. I feel I'm up to my ears in work, show preparations, and other commitments that I'm dog paddling just to keep my chin above water. I don't consider my work to be a burden by any means, I just need to take it one task at a time. So I'm not sure what that means for my online presence for the next couple weeks. I'll probably continue to share glimpses of the work for the show, because this body of work I feel very strongly about and I'll share some inspiration as well. If you see me less often please forgive me, I'm still here and still appreciate you so very much!

Good evening,
I want to tell you how much I am loving this collaboration with Jen. I am. Not only do I love beholding what she sees and takes each month, but this project is challenging me. I appreciate that alot. It challenges me to begin a piece with an idea beyond my own, and then interpret it.
My piece is on the left and her response is on the right. She has posted my response to her March piece. We'll be posting our first April pieces around the 15th.
oh, I also love how Jen tucks extra goodies in like this. Sometimes it's good to be spoiled.
