1001 is a recent renovation and building project my husband and his company struct/restruct LLC, just completed. They did such an amazing job renovating the original 1880's form and adding new construction with features like : reclaimed slate shingles for part of the exterior siding, glass ceiling in the front entry, locally milled aromatic cedar flooring and stair treads as well as original pine flooring, cement and butcher block kitchen counter tops made from recycled yellow pine studs saved from the original house, kitchen floors of recycled black slate roof shingles they extracted from an 1852 regional house, and many more beautiful custom features throughout.
