Hi,
Since Friday was my last day of teaching for the school year, I've been taking summer in stride over this long weekend by bringing in fresh flowers, baking bread, making salads with garden greens, and going to potlucks. Last evening we had dinner at Alicia's beautiful home. It was certainly fun times with the mayfly and buttons magee families, topped off with a firepit at the end of the night.
Today M. & I slept in {way late} and made sheep and caterpillar shaped pancakes for brunch. He is out working in the garden and I feel like making a chocolate cake today.
Yes, I have to say, just two days into it, summer is off to a great start.
