Morning, it is so nice to see you,,,

...in all your calmness. I am thankful for this quiet morning as last night a little after 1 am we woke to heavy rain and loud winds pummeling against the building. We turned on the radio and the NWS had issued a tornado warning, so we ran to an interior room. It was loud, and lasted about 20 - 30 mins. The paper this morning said there were straight line winds involved. Anyway, not much sleep was to be had after that BUT I am thankful for a calm & still morning today. very thankful.

Weather report aside...
Modern Spring opens TONIGHT! I'm so excited for this show and am regretting that I cannot attend the opening. However the work goes on sale in the Artstream online shop tonight by 5 pm est. I look forward to seeing more of the other artists' lovely work! Here's a preview at Susan's flickr and blog. And here's a peek of the work I'll have in it.

I'm popping in to say good morning and a couple things:

I really do look forward to...

...making our coffee each morning. There's something about grinding the beans and scooping them into the little french press {too little m. says, we do need a bigger one} that I really like. I'm also looking forward to being in my studio today, making drawings. bliss.

I'm also looking forward to seeing more of Stephanie's small collages too as she adds them one by one to her shop. She got to see the Alps the other day, can you imagine?

hello!
How are you this evening? I hope your weekend has been a source of rejuvenation for you. I got some much needed relaxing in {after racing the past two weeks to get work ready and sent off for the LA show and for Modern Spring at Arstream}. whew! Now I'm on to the next tasks, and boy I'm excited about these too! I'll reveal them slowly as I complete the work for them.

I just added a few new drawings to the shop this afternoon and my next BIG update will be around MAY 12, with some new goodies. I hope you'll be able to drop by!

oh, we chopped down our mulberry tree yesterday, bye bye dying hollow tree, hello sunshine for our garden.

and oh! guest noticing begins tomorrow! I hope you'll be able to send us a photo of what you're noticing!
