{more stacks}

Good morning,

It's the middle of the week already and I just realized my last post was Sunday! I have been so absorbed in work on projects and pieces for upcoming deadlines that... well anyway, you know the story.

Yesterday, Alicia posted about stacks of things to complete, that's kind of how I feel. And I feel good about it because they are projects I'm enjoying {except for the taxes}. I have several things I'm looking forward to sharing with you {soon} and others will take more time {but I'm excited!}

Oh, here's a studio visit with a friend of ours Justin Marable. We have & love this print called 'Highway Robbery'.

ok, see you soon friends!

YOU make my day...

... so I made you some sticky rolls!

Recently {well, not too terribly long ago} Cally, Kathryn, and Bibbi awarded me with the "you make my day award". Thank you ladies, it is such an honor from each of you! I know you three truly always make my day.

I'm awarding five people with this, when I could pick any of you, so thank you for being here too! Thank you ladies for being you and making the day of alot of people out there!
Angie, whom I think I always tag but I just love visiting her every day. I really do.
Gretchen, because she's a lovely artist and super sweet.
Emily, a new friend to me, her blog is so nice and I enjoy her flickr images so much. She always has a kind and supportive word.
Shari, for her inspiration, gentleness, and friendliness. I have never felt like a stranger with Shari.
Alicia, because I am so thankful for her as a friend. She also brings so much to the Noticing Project and I look forward to working with her each day. Thank you A!

Here's the process for the "you make my day award":
* write a post with links to 5 blogs that make you think and/or make your day.
* acknowledge the post of the award giver.
* tell the award winners that they have won by leaving them a comment on their blogs.
{note: I skipped # 2 be/c I feel these ladies make my day every day.}

Alright, now I need to organize some paperwork and do my taxes. The fun is over for today. I hope yours isn't!

mittens

Yesterday I received these sweet mittens my mom made. Thank you Mom, they are beautiful! And the blue will go so well with my winter coat, which I certainly need today!

Speaking of sweet, we watched the movie, The Namesake. It gets two mittened thumbs up from me.

Have a nice weekend friends,
Heather
